  • Fire detection and Fire Alarm Systems
    There two types of detection systems, one being the conventional system and the other being the Addressable system. In the conventional systems detectors are wired in zones which will be indicated on the panel but in the addressable system is unit is given a number and in an event the panel will show the exact detector which has activated alarm. The smoke detectors are installed to detect a fire and the Manual call points are installed to manually activate an alarm in an emergency.

    There are four types of fire extinguishers and they are; CO2 fire extinguisher to fight electrical ignited fires, Water fire extinguishers to extinguish paper, cloth and wood based fires, DCP fire extinguishers and Foam fire extinguishers to fight oil and chemical based fires.

    Fire hose reel and hydrant systems are mostly used in commercial buildings and industrial premises. The system is pressurized with water and in a case of a fire hose reels and hydrants could be used to extinguish the fire. However this system is not used in petroleum and chemical based industries.

    This system uses specially made industrial gases are used to extinguish a fire. These systems are commonly used to high security and very important places such s server rooms, mobile switch rooms, record rooms and etc... CO2, FM 200, NAF S 125, Novac and Inert gases are commonly used in these systems.

  • Early warning smoke detection system
    This is commonly known as an air sampling system. This is also installed in high priority areas. The system constantly monitors the air inside the particular area and an alarm is activated if smoke particle are found in an air sample.
